  1. My husband received a Pavarotti letter. He had met Pavarotti in his past as an injured Vietnam veteran. Originally they asked for $3100 to process bank paperwork. We did not pay but stayed in communication. Now they ask for no money saying they paid the fees and just want us to come to London to sign for the inheritance ($31.5 million). How are we scammed if we pay them nothing? Please clarify.

    • It’s still a scam – read You would not receive a legitimate offer like this through email.

And the loveliness continues – from analysis of the headers I know that this email (the one I received) came from Nigeria. Anything from Nigeria leaves a bad taste in my mouth and I wouldn’t do any business with ANYTHING vaguely related to that country.

If you were to travel to London you would be asked for money. Period.

  2. Today I received this same message from Derek Wood CBE QC ;.
Indicating that the late Luciano Pavarotti donate the same amount under my name.

I have not reply to recipient. Hope the Almighty will bless their SOUL.

    May God Bless you all.
    From the Fiji Islands.
