For my readers in India or South Asia:

If you are reading this, you have received an email or a text message on your cell phone saying that you have won a prize.

The email/text message you have received IS NOT REAL.

It is a scam called Advance-Fee Fraud.

There is no money for you – the person who sent you the message just wants to scam you or defraud you.

To summarize (although I recommend looking up advance-fee fraud on wikipedia.com):
The people send you a message claiming that you have won a prize.
Those same people claim to need a ‘processing fee’ so you can receive your prize.
You will never receive the prize – the scammers are only interested in getting money from you and they will say anything to get it.

Remember – not everyone has your best interests in mind.
